Used Aegis Road Bikes For Sale
Aegis is a US bike manufacturer that prides itself on producing handmade carbon fiber bikes.
The company had its origins in making tennis racquets for the Rossignol Ski Corporation in 1973. (Tennis legend, Mats Wilander, won tournaments using racquets developed and manufactured by Aegis.)
Aegis was later contracted by Trek to produce carbon fiber tubing but soon turned its attention to filing patents on its own "revolutionary three-piece concept" - the world's "finest composite frame". As a result, Aegis frames would be seamless tubes of continuous fibers that promised "undeviating frame performance, longevity, durability and precision alignment".
There current models include the Zero, T2, Trident, Victory, Swift, Aro Svelte, Pave and Proaxe.
